World Water Day 2023
Today, IEK (North Rift Branch) joins the world, in collaboration with Uasin Gishu County Government in commemoration of the World Water Day (2023), at Kimuri Dam, Ngeria Ward in Uasin Gishu, by planting trees at Ngeria Ward led by the chief guest CEC Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Mr. Edward Sawe, and among others, Mr. Ambrose Tarus, Water Irrigation and Sanitation.
This years theme is “Accelerating the change to solve the water and sanitation crisis” and the main objective is to inspire people to sustainably manage the freshwater resources and learn more about water-related issues.
